Scotland has always enjoyed a tradition of open access to the countryside with even private land being accessible to those wishing to go walking, climbing or generally exploring the beauty of the natural Scottish countryside. Most recently, the Scottish Parliament has enacted legislation to enshrine such access as a right for people to enjoy in a responsible manner.
When you plan your holiday in Scotland, why not set aside some time to explore and enjoy nature ? As part of our plans to promote the balanced environmental management of the countryside, a newly planted forest has been established which, over the coming decades, will provide a protected habitat for a variety of flora and fauna.
Our family run holiday cottage has just been opened and offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy the very best of Scotland to single people, couples or a single parent and child in a beautiful country setting.
